Let’s Meet Roger Johansson
Roger began his career with New York Life Insurance Company in 2005. His expertise is in the area of helping business, families and individuals to protect their assets and meet their long-term financial objectives. His passion is to make a difference in people’s lives and he has helped countless individuals achieve their financial goals.
Based on his sales production, he has consistently been a member of New York Life’s Councils from 2006-2022. He has earned the prestigious achievement of being a Member of the Million Dollar Roundtable consecutively from 2017-2022. He is also a Member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
Originally from the country of Sweden, Roger studied Economics in Sweden. He earned his B.A. from Central Bible College (now merged with Evangel College), Springfield Missouri in 1992. He earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designation from the American College. He is a Registered Representative, holding his Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and 63 licenses.
Having a heart to help not only his clients, but his fellow agents and financial advisors, Roger serves on the local board of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Greater South Carolina General office’s Agents’ Advisory Council for New York Life Insurance.
Roger is also active serving in his community and industry. He serves on the board of the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce, supporting local business and the community. He also serves on the board of Optimist Club of St. Andrews, a non-profit charity organization, raising funds for children in need in the community. He serves on the board of NAIFA South Carolina and the Agents Advisory Council for the Greater South Carolina General Office of New York Life Insurance Company in Charleston, SC.
Roger has been married to his wife Sarah since 1985 and they are enjoying life with their 5 adult children, their spouses and grandchildren.
